In my lessons I intend to be receptive to my students, identifying areas of both strength and also weakness and also adapting the rate, mode and technique of the sessions as necessary. Throughout my studying of maths I have actually always felt that I engage the most with the topic via doing many example troubles, so I would place a high value on this method to learning in my lessons. I will revisit the previous week's content at the start of every session to ensure a strong understanding and to develop confidence for the tutees as they progress.

I will strive to resolve any type of reluctance or nervousness when approaching 'larger' issues, whether in size or difficulty of their topic, by showing rational ways to break down the issue into smaller parts which are easier to deal with, before developing to a complete, extensive solution.
